OSWAA, as the acronym for 'One Source Water Action Alignment', is a simple invitation and pledge to affirm our global remembrance of Water as the Source of All Life. The mission of the OSWAA Pledge is to generate a unified community of coherence around honoring Water as Source, not resource, and cherishing Water as the essential Nature of Water flowing through Earth's water catchments and watersheds as the foundational life force supporting the wellbeing of all humans and beyond-human life.
Joining OSWAA represents our core commitment to live in alignment with Source Water. Simple, no more, no less.​Yet, we believe this one commitment holds the power to flip our relationships with the Water Cycle of Life. As an entry into the design of the Watershed Wisdom Councils Concept (WWCC) and the Pathways to Implementation of community actions and solutions supported by WaterUnity Networks (WUN), the OSWAA Pledge completes a triad of connection inviting life-long self-discovery for those on this Source Water journey.
OSWAA is the entry gateway, opening the door for so much more exploration.
Engagement in this profound journey is not a SDG, nor a coaching program, or an agenda item to be ticked off. This is an evolutionary adventure serves a little understood world of life's covalent reciprocity. As we delve into the more difficult aspects of the human condition and our dysfunctional interference with the Nature of Water, we're remembering ourselves as integral aspects within our Water~Earth, offering viable and practical key pathways toward revitalization of Source Water, and all life dependent upon this essential life-force, and ourselves within it.

At the heart of this movement is the understanding that the ecological and social "chaos" we're experiencing as a species is largely a consequence of 10,000 years of collective human interference with our vital planetary living systems, without giving back to life in equal or greater measure. By ignoring the planet's hydrologic cycle, which drives our climate (our primary life-support system), we're each contributing to the degradation by degrees — SO, we each and all have a high degree of responsibility to restore this critical balance as best we can, as quickly as possible.

This isn't a Water crisis, it's a human crisis, impacting every other species of life on Earth. TIME IS NOW!

​We have every solution we need: solid science, proven nature-based methods, and able teachers. Our remaining challenge lies in coordinating the support and willingness — for how to best organize the "local to global" collaborations and curriculum required to efficiently activate and engage concerned citizens in the work in the small window of opportunity remaining. WUN strives to fill this gap for the most effective response in the shortest period of time. Empowering and enabling humans to take care of what we love, we are coming TOGETHER — community by community, person by person.
THE ANSWER IS US! WE ARE ALL NEEDED! EVERY DROP MATTERS! TIME IS NOW!
