OSWAA as the acronym for 'One Source Water Alignment Alliance' is a simple invitation and pledge to affirm our global remembrance of Water as the Source of All Life. The mission of the OSWAA Pledge is to generate a unified community of coherence around honoring Water as Source, not resource, and cherishing Water as the essential Nature of Water with Water catchments and watersheds as the foundational life force supporting the wellbeing of all humans and non-human life.
Joining OSWAA represents our core commitment to live in alignment with Source Water. Simple, no more, no less.​Yet, this simple commitment holds the power to flip our relationships with the Water Cycle on it backside. As entry to the change theory of WWCC (Watershed Wisdom Councils Concept) and the implementation of community actions supported by WUN (WaterUnity Networks), these OSWAA Pledges completes a triad of connection inviting life-long self-discovery for those joining into this Source Water journey. This first step opens the door for so much more.
This profound engagement is not a SDG, nor a coaching program, or an agenda item to be ticked off. This is an evolutionary adventure exploring a little understood world of life's covalent reciprocity. As we delve into the more difficult aspects of the human condition and our interference with the Nature of Water, we're invited to remember ourselves as integral to our Water~Earth, offering humanity viable and practical key pathways toward revitalization of Source Water, the organizing watersheds, all life dependent upon this essential life-force, and ourselves within it.

At the heart of this movement is an understanding that the ecological and social "chaos" we're experiencing as a species is largely a consequence of 10,000 years of collective human interference with our vital planetary living systems, primarily the hydrologic cycle of our climate (our critical life-support systems). We've each contributing to the degradation, by degrees — SO, we all have a high degree of responsibility to bring back the balance as best we can, as quickly as possible.

​We have every solution we need: solid science, proven nature-based methods, and able teachers. Our remaining challenge is gathering the support and willingness — for how we best organize and coordinate the "local to global" collaborations and curriculum required to efficiently activate and engage concerned citizens in the work. WUN strives to fill this gap for the most effective response in the shortest period of time. Empowering and enabling humans to take care of what we love, we are coming TOGETHER — watershed by watershed, community by community, person by person.
THE ANSWER IS US! WE ARE ALL NEEDED! EVERY DROP COUNTS! TIME IS NOW!
